| Bio: | Each day, I continue to become more of myself, and I am fortunate to be surrounded by people who help push me in that direction.

An ever-changing record of my thoughts, observations, and concerns, this journal has become "Friends Mostly." My LiveJournal friends are generally "real" friends first, but I will never underestimate the power of things working out the other direction. I live with my wife and maine coon kitty in Chicago, where I am pursuing a PhD in English literature. I check my e-mail almost as compulsively as I check my friends page. And since one can never know too many special people, just ask and I will friend you back. All told, I'm a pretty good guy.
If you don't read this journal now, you'll probably read it someday in my memoirs!
